The Junior Iowa Meat Goat Association (JIMGA) was established in 2018 for all youth under 21 years as of January 1. The purpose of the group is to support the Iowa Meat Goat Association; to encourage greater junior interest in the breeding, raising, marketing, and exhibition of meat goats; develop leadership and communication skills with junior members; and provide increased educational experiences for junior members.
