IMGA scholarship program
The IMGA offers a $500 scholarship to outstanding students who are IMGA or JIMGA members in good standing and actively involved in the goat industry. The purpose of this scholarship is to identify and encourage talented and thoughtful students who will emerge as industry leaders. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined annually by the IMGA Board of Directors and IMGA Youth Committee based on available funds and the number of qualified applicants. Recipients may be awarded the scholarship one time. Scholarship applications are due March 31st.

Ashlyn Huff Ashlyn is the daughter of members Mike and Lisa Huff. Together, they raise Boer goats on their family farm, Double A Boers. Ashlyn attends college at Iowa State University and is majoring in an Animal Science area. In high school, Ashlyn was active in 4H, FFA, speech, drama, band, choir, student council and National Honor Society. She was and continues to be involved in JIMGA and serves on the JIMGA Board. |
2021 IMGA Scholarship Recipient -
Mazee Funke Mazee is the daughter of members Jon and Brenda Funke. Together, they raise Boer goats on their family farm, M & J's Goat Ranch. Mazee attends college at Southwestern Iowa Community College and intends to get a degree in Animal Science and become a certified Lap AI technician. She serves on the JIMGA Board and is active participant on SWCC's livestock judging team. |

Dylan Harman Dylan Harman was awarded the 2018 IMGA scholarship! Congratulation, Dylan. Dylan has been an active IMGA member for years and plans to continue to raise boer goats. He attends the Northwestern College. From all of us at the IMGA….Good luck in the future and congratulations. |
